What Does Private Childbirth Education Look Like?

Tara Pregnancy 4 Comments

Wondering what private childbirth education looks like? With Dayton Birth Prep, it looks like a comfortable conversation between friends. You look forward to it. You know it will be fun, effortless, and worth your while. It is filled with good conversation, deep insight, and laughter, and it ends with a boost of confidence and lasting comfort.

Imagine brewing your favorite cup of coffee, preparing your favorite snacks, and hearing a knock at your door. You open it to find your personal childbirth educator greeting you with a smile, a hug, and everything needed to give you the most valuable lesson in birth that you can get. You and your partner get cozy on your favorite sofa and your CBE (childbirth educator) sets up her models and organizes her information. You begin the class with a conversation, which is what personal childbirth education is based on. It’s a conversation.

Before you know it, you’re laughing–which reminds you that, being pregnant, you have to pee. Luckily you have the freedom and luxury of taking as many breaks as you want in the privacy of your own home.

At one point you take some time to ask questions about a topic of concern and it leads to an in-depth conversation about something completely unrelated, but important to you. Before you know it, a couple hours have flown by and you feel refreshed and energized and totally confident. You have a wealth of information at your fingertips, you have explored options you didn’t even know you had, and you have the practical skills to manage your labor and birth how you decide is best.

At the end of the class, you are able to ask all of your questions without feeling rushed. Your CBE gives you her contact information and tells you to email her with any further questions. She tidies up and slips away leaving you and your partner right where you want to be–at home. You discuss your plans with your partner and the both of you drift off to sleep dreaming of the big day.

The next day as you’re working on your birth plan, you realize that you have a question about a certain procedure. You send over an email to your CBE and she replies with exactly the information you need. It is comforting to know that you have access to your CBE for the duration of your pregnancy.

Private childbirth education is for families who want more out of birth classes. If you’re a resident of the Dayton Metro area and are ready to experience the luxury of private, personalized birth classes, and access to your own personal educator, you’ve come to the right place.

  1. It’s a pity you don’t have a donate button! I’d certainly donate to this brilliant blog! I suppose for now i’ll settle for bookmarking and adding your RSS feed to my Google account. I look forward to new updates and will talk about this blog with my Facebook group. Chat soon!

  2. At this time it appears like Movable Type is the top blogging platform available right now. (from what I’ve read) Is that what you are using on your blog?

  3. I’ve been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.
